You can get started quickly with BlockWallet by importing your existing accounts. Importing an existing address means that you don’t need to transfer over your tokens or create a new account.
If you have an account with other self-custodial wallets, such as MetaMask or TrustWallet, you can import your account.
To import an existing address, you need your seed phrase. Your seed phrase is the key to your wallet. It makes it possible to restore your account after losing access. Import your seed phrase to gain access to the funds held on your Blank Wallet account. Always back up your seed phrase and store it in a safe place.
Once you’ve installed BlockWallet, you’ll have the option to Create a New Wallet or Import Your Wallet. In this tutorial, we will be covering how to Import Your Wallet using a seed phrase.

How to import your wallet
Once you’ve installed BlockWallet, you’ll have the option to import an existing address or create a new one. Select the option to import an account.
Enter your seed phrase and a password for your BlockWallet account. Import your account after agreeing to the terms of use.
You're now ready to start using BlockWallet and all of its privacy-preserving features! Access your account via the extensions section of your browser.
